Medical Transcriptionist Job Overview

This role is at the heart of our communication, ensuring precision and speed in every piece of medical correspondence.

As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing urgent and routine medical letters and reports, maintaining a high level of accuracy and speed. You will also work closely with healthcare professionals to manage document flow, ensuring timely review, correction, and dispatch.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately transcribing medical records
  • Managing document flow and collaborating with healthcare teams
  • Providing clear and effective communication both within the team and with external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experienced Medical Transcriptionist with a minimum of 3 years in a medical typing/transcription role
  • Audio transcription skills and proficiency in using computer hardware and software packages
  • Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Specialised experience in Medical Oncology, Haematology, and Radiation Oncology preferred
