Job Opportunity

Energy Consumers Australia is seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to deliver, coordinate and evaluate our 3-year strategic planning processes and annual workplans.

The role involves supporting the Director, Strategy and Corporate, working with the Board and Executive Management team on strategic planning, reporting outcomes of our work, including to energy ministers and officials, and identifying success measures for achieving organisational goals.

This role offers opportunities for mid-level career professionals to develop management skills, work with expert consultants, and help shape the energy system to create better outcomes for Australian households and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategic planning framework, policies, and processes;
  • Training people on processes and systems;
  • Reporting writing and presentation skills;
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and presenting ideas in a clear and engaging way;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products;
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Asana or similar tool.

  • Salary range $110,000 - $123,000 (FTE 1.0) dependent on experience;
