Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager

We are seeking a Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the management of food and beverage services across multiple sites in South Australia and Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage the food and beverage team, ensuring high standards of quality and service are maintained.
  • Manage catering operations to meet contractual obligations, client and staff expectations.
  • Establish and monitor food preparation, presentation and cooking techniques to meet brand standards.
  • Work with the Executive and Head Chef to address any performance issues and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene are practiced and maintained by the kitchen team, meeting Health & Safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain menus for routine meal services, private and formal functions in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Manage food costs and expenses within the scope of onsite contracts.
  • Regularly review and address client and staff feedback, as well as maintenance registers.
  • Process money received, including all recording and reporting.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business, focusing on exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Operations, Business, Food and Beverage or related discipline.
  • Holding and maintaining relevant certifications, including HACCP Level 3, First Aid Certificate – Level 3, Food Safety Supervisor certification and RSA certificate.
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (currently TAE40122).
  • Basic accounting skills, including budgeting and reporting.
