Graduate Landscape ArchitectWe are seeking a graduate landscape architect to support the planning and delivery of landscape design documentation for parks, open spaces, playgrounds, sports fields, and soft landscaping of infrastructure assets.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to grow their skills while contributing to projects that enhance public spaces across the city. The ideal candidate will have recently completed tertiary qualifications in landscape architecture or a similar field and have some experience with landscape design and knowledge of relevant Australian standards. Good drafting skills and the ability to work with design software including AutoCAD and Adobe packages are also essential. Strong communication and organizational skills are required as well as a C Class NSW Driver's Licence (Provisional P2 minimum).Key duties include:
  • Undertake landscape design and drafting for various capital works projects;
  • Assist with site investigations and preparation of design reports;
  • Prepare cost estimates for landscape elements and support construction planning;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, residents, utilities, and government agencies;
  • Maintain accurate job costing records and adhere to quality standards;
  • Support the team's use of design software and contribute to continuous improvement;

Requirements:
  • Recently completed tertiary qualification in landscape architecture or similar field;
