Our organisation is seeking an experienced and skilled Family Law solicitor to fill a vacant role in Toowoomba, Australia.

Job Description
  • Manage approximately 40 matters at a time, including child protection cases, and provide high-quality legal services to clients.
  • Advocate for First Nations children and families, focusing on reunification, and work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Handle divorce and family settlements, and provide expert advice on complex legal issues.

We are looking for a dedicated legal practitioner who is committed to advocating for justice and improving the lives of First Nations people. A good work-life balance is offered, with occasional travel to surrounding communities.

Requirements
  • Mid-Senior level experience in Family Law, with a strong understanding of Child Protection laws and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
