Job Overview

Aurecon is seeking a talented Digital Modeller to join our high-performing team of specialists in delivering complex energy infrastructure projects across Australia.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the detailed design and digital modelling of NSW's most exciting energy infrastructure projects, including Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and large-scale transmission upgrades.
  • Develop High Voltage design drafting packages, working closely with designers, engineers, and clients across Australia and offshore.
  • Lead and contribute to digital modelling and drafting of Transmission and distribution projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on detailed and concept design.
  • Support offshore coordination, bringing together global design capability.
  • Apply technical knowledge to ensure accuracy, compliance, and innovation.

Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in High Voltage Transmission and Distribution or Industrial Projects.
  • Strong skills using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Experience with Secondary Electrical / Control Systems or High Voltage transmission line projects.
  • Experience coordinating with offshore design teams.
  • Solid understanding of AU/NZ standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
