Key Role:

This strategic position involves a seasoned leader to oversee and enhance the technology infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance across all IT operations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, with demonstrated experience in digital transformation and information management and have implemented successful IT service delivery models including management of outsourced managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver our digital, information, AI and technology strategies.
  • Manage IT operations and infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and alignment with business needs, including business continuity and enterprise architecture.
  • Oversee and deliver cybersecurity, risk, and compliance functions by implementing proactive controls, ensuring robust disaster recovery, resilience and incident response plans and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and manage enterprise applications and software, including issue resolution, release updates, integrations, and change control.
  • Drive enterprise data management through the implementation of data governance practices, security protocols, and efficient database administration.
  • Manage IT financials, including the preparation of operational budgets, vendor management, and performance benchmarking to optimise return on investment.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role including hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Client Engagement and Business Central
  • Extensive knowledge of IT and Communications infrastructure (hardware, data management, operating systems, cybersecurity, cloud etc)
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud services, and AI applications
  • Experience in managing a mix of outsourced IT service provision and internal IT resources, in the context of operating as a client of outsourced service providers
  • Strong IT project management skills (business and technical) including project costing and financial validation
  • Proven effective communication, team leadership and collaboration skills
  • Experience in IT operations financial management
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Highly Regarded
  • Experience with government agencies desirable.
  • Management experience in a values-based organisation is desirable.
