About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Career Opportunities in Disability Employment professional to support and guide clients in attaining suitable employment opportunities. This role requires excellent organisational skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to manage referrals and intakes of job seekers into chosen programs.
- Evaluating job seeker skills, identifying barriers, and developing intervention strategies to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
- In consultation with clients, creating work preparation strategies, tailored interventions, and employment support activities to enhance employability.
- Maintaining effective communication and promoting job seekers to achieve successful employment opportunities.
- Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational guidance, training, and job search skills to increase capacity for employment.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with peers, clients, and stakeholders to achieve employment goals.
- Demonstrated high-level professionalism, adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in conflicting situations.
- Effective time management and workload prioritisation to meet business objectives in challenging environments.
- Customer-focused and community-oriented approach.
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
