Electrical Estimator Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and support the preparation of tenders and proposals across a diverse range of electrical and infrastructure projects.

  • Review tender documents and identify key risks and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate costings for tenders, schedules of rates, and proposals.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and suppliers to gather accurate information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers/subcontractors for competitive pricing.
  • Support the quality assurance process to ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements.
  • Participate in pre-award negotiations and handover to operations teams.

Key Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in the electrical trade with knowledge of construction and maintenance environments.
  • Site-based experience within the engineering, construction, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Strong understanding of statutory requirements, legislation, and Australian Standards.
  • Previous estimating experience with knowledge of construction norms and industry rates.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualification in electrical or related discipline.
