Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing pastoral care programs for personal development
- Maintaining communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress
- Monitoring health, safety, and wellbeing within the classroom and school environment
- Engaging in ongoing professional learning to enhance teaching practice
Requirements for the role include:
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent qualification
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
- Experience or willingness to work with students with learning disabilities
- Understanding of Restorative Practices for behaviour management
- Ability to create and maintain inclusive learning environments
