Commify seeks a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to support the Finance team in Australia. This part-time role offers flexibility, with options for 5 shorter days or 3 full days, and involves working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure timely completion of routine finance tasks.

About the Role
  • We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and take ownership of Accounts Receivable functions, perform recurring monthly cash collection tasks, and support cash allocation and debt collection.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular credit card and direct debit payments
  • Supporting the sales team with customer-related tasks, such as following up on late payments and setting up payment details for new clients
  • Logging and filing new customer contracts
  • Managing the Finance email inbox and responding to queries from suppliers, customers, and others
  • Assisting in payments to suppliers and managing partnership referrals
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure other routine finance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow documented processes
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, and external suppliers
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied workflow
