About REA Group
We are a leading global digital business specialising in property, with a mission to change the way the world experiences property.
Our team is at the heart of everything we do, and we're proud to be named one of Australia's Best Workplaces for two years in a row. We're looking for talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and making a real impact.
The Role
We're seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Business Services Group, where you'll work closely with our leadership team to provide strategic commercial input and guidance on decisions across all levels of the business.
You'll be immersed in our 18-month rotational Graduate Program, where you'll be exposed to all aspects of finance, including Group Reporting, Risk and Assurance, and Commercial Finance. You'll collaborate with specialists across the business, building your communication skills, ability to flex, and influence.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Work on a range of projects from statutory reporting and management accounting to business partnering, elevating commercial acumen and financial accountability.
- Learn best practice Internal Audit Methodology.
- Perform Operational, Financial, and IT audits across REA's business units.
- Be part of executing and delivering the Sarbanes Oxley program.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with deep analytical thinking, innate curiosity, and a love of learning. You should be driven to make a difference, with a solutions-focused mindset and excellent communication skills. Ideally, you'll have recently completed or will complete in 2024 a bachelor's degree in commerce and/or accounting or a combined accounting & IT degree. A keen interest in pursuing your CPA or CA qualification is also desirable.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits include flexible working hours, a hybrid approach to working, and programs to support mental, emotional, financial, and physical health and wellbeing. You'll also have access to our Because We Care program, which offers volunteering leave, community grants, matched payroll giving, and a Community Café that donates 100% of revenue to charity.
About Your Future Career
We're committed to your development – both professionally and personally. Our 18-month rotational Graduate Program will give you the skills and experience you need to build a successful career in finance. You'll have opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, network with colleagues, and take on new challenges.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We're an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse backgrounds. We're passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, and we're committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
