About the Role

We are seeking an experienced primary tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Bossley Park. As a leading provider of tuition services, we offer a supportive and vibrant work environment that fosters growth and development.

As a primary tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodology, which focuses on literacy and numeracy skills. You will work in small group settings, helping children to grow their confidence and meet their goals every day.

The ideal candidate will possess a teaching degree or be in the final year of their degree, with a current Working with Children Check. They should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with students and parents.

In this role, you will be required to commit to every class you are scheduled to teach, with the flexibility to work up to 2-3 sessions a day (Monday to Friday). You will also need to keep accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching degree or be in the final year of your degree
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a positive and vibrant personality

You will also need to be reliable, have high attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. A genuine love for learning and teaching is essential for this role.
