About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate primary tutor to join our team at Kip McGrath Education Centre in Bossley Park.

As a primary tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students, helping them to overcome their learning challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students using the Kip McGrath methodology, which is designed to provide students with a tailored learning experience that meets their individual needs.
  • Tutor students in a positive, caring manner to promote self-esteem and self-worth.
  • Learn how to use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, saving you time and increasing your teaching efficiency.
  • Be available to commit to every class you are scheduled to teach, ensuring that our students receive consistent and high-quality instruction.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents, providing regular progress updates and feedback.
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day, Monday to Friday, in a fun and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • A teaching degree or be in the final year of your degree.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality and a genuine love for learning and teaching.
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to teach both face-to-face in our Bossley Park centre and online as required by management.
