Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations and Union Management
- Support investigations and manage union relations, focusing on Enterprise Agreement interpretations.
- Advise on relevant Awards, Industrial Agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Manage union right of entries and maintain positive relationships.
- Develop and execute people plans in collaboration with leaders.
- Coordinate workforce planning activities to meet medium and long-term resource needs.
- Manage succession plans and recruitment activities aligned with headcount budgets.
- Oversee the talent review process and develop plans for top talent.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes, alongside the recruitment team.
- Manage variations to employment, parental leave requests, and flexible work arrangements.
- Handle disciplinary and performance matters, conducting investigations when required.
- Review HR metrics and identify trends to implement strategies minimizing risk.
- Develop and execute plans to achieve KPIs related to diversity and inclusion.
- Support delivery of the Apprentice and Trainee program.
- Assist operational leaders with HR activities such as Annual Performance Reviews and salary reviews.
- Proven experience in HR roles involving employee relations, union management, and compliance with industrial relations laws.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes including workforce planning, recruitment, and talent management.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $130,000 to $135,000 per annum.
- Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) based on performance.
- $4,000 private health benefit.
- Additional superannuation contributions.
- Flexible work-from-home arrangements to support onsite team needs.
