**The Opportunity**
A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an energised strategic thinker to join us in a newly created position of **Strategic HR Business Partner**.
Reporting to the People Services Manager (equivalent to ‘Head of’ role) and working closely with our GM HR & Corporate Affairs, this role will work proactively alongside Senior Leaders and Executives on strategic design of people initiatives and programs that align WesCEF's People Strategy with business plans and objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to have a real impact on increasing WesCEF's productivity, profitability and competitiveness.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Work with the HR Leadership Team to define the People and HR Strategy and design initiatives that support this plan.
- Manage relationships with Senior Leaders and Executives and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and mobilising appropriate internal and external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
- Drive talent management and succession planning with a 5+ year horizon view.
- Drive capability development across the business aligned with objectives and priorities.
- Design, identify, advocate and enable initiatives that drive diversity and inclusion and improve organisational effectiveness.
- Interpret and translate the trends and insights to support future organisational design for the business.
- Coordinate strategic workforce planning with Senior Leaders and Executives.
- Provide authoritative specialist advice to senior managers to enable the implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives, including IR & ER Strategies.
- Drive, create and implement employee engagement action plans with business leadership.'‹
- Utilise data, analytics and insights to inform People Strategy actions into the business.
- Specify and manage the implementation of people data requirements to meet the organisation's management information needs and to support key processes and procedures.
**With stakeholders located at both our Murdoch and Kwinana (operational) locations you will need to be able to travel between both locations as required.**
**Please note that our Murdoch office will be relocating to Perth CBD in late 2025.**
**About You**
You are an experienced HR professional with an ability to see the ‘big picture’ by keeping abreast of the latest external trends and regulation, without losing sight of the important details.
In addition, you will have:
- Extensive experience in a senior HR Business Partnering role with demonstrated achievement delivering HR projects and initiatives to meet organisational goals.
- Solid and demonstrable leadership experience in engaging and motivating a team of HR Generalists and/or SME's.
- A relevant Tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
- Effective at developing productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers and demonstrable experience successfully advising the most senior levels of business leadership.
- Exemplary influencing and coaching skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
