Ranger Position

The Ranger will play a key role in enforcing local laws and regulations to maintain public safety, community amenity, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out patrols and investigate breaches
  • Educate the public on statutory frameworks and enforcement practices
  • Take appropriate enforcement actions in line with Council's statutes
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and the community to uphold Council's values and promote a positive public image

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in regulatory control and extensive technical knowledge in application of statutory frameworks.

They will also possess excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, as well as experience in using and integrating new technology into work practices and procedures.

Additional requirements include being willing to undergo a National Police Check and Pre-employment medical prior to commencement, and maintaining a Class C drivers' licence without restriction.
