Our Water Infrastructure NSW team is currently seeking to appoint a **Workshop and Field Support Officer **to assist in the delivery of a range of flood, hydrological and hydraulic modelling and data collection projects. In this role, you will work with senior staff to coordinate contractors, maintain plant equipment in safe working order, construct large scale physical models and assist in the installation of environmental data collection instrumentation. Periodic field trips may also be required to install and maintain field-based equipment.

**About You**

You will have proven experience delivering trade services on time and on budget with competing priorities. You will also have a willingness to learn new skills, be safety conscious, have good customer service and relationship building skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional client service at all times. Experience with carpentry, welding, plumbing with PVC piping and working with epoxy, composite and engineered materials will also be beneficial.

**Essential Requirements**
- Trade qualification in Plumbing, Carpentry, Building or similar equivalent experience
- Current NSW Class C driver licence
- Current (or the ability to gain) NSW Forklift Operator’s licence
- Please note travel is occasionally required for this role therefore you must have a valid NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across various locations within NSW including overnight stay.
