What will your typical day look like?

Expect to work closely with our clients, helping to address 'front-page' and 'big-ticket' issues. On a day-to-day basis you might find yourself:

• Collaborating with government and stakeholders to shape the next generation of infrastructure and real estate projects.
• Undertaking commercial and financial analysis, designing commercial frameworks, and optimising procurement strategies.
• Analysing an infrastructure network's performance and future requirements using the latest tools and technologies to identify opportunities and risks.
• Coordinating business case development for important community projects.
• Conducting analysis to identify opportunities and risks in infrastructure projects.
• Supporting large-scale government tender processes to ensure value for money.
• Supporting high-profile, complex infrastructure projects across various sectors.

About the Team

Deloitte Infrastructure & Industrials team comprises over 400 experts working on some of the most high-profile infrastructure and government service projects. We offer a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with industry leaders passionate about your professional growth.

About You

We seek a diverse range of skills and experiences to add to our Brisbane team. We are open to professionals from various backgrounds in infrastructure and commerce.

As a Manager or Senior Analyst, you will lead teams, manage engagements, and have strong technical and analytical skills, including supervising others. You should demonstrate strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to articulate and resolve complex issues. Effective communication and stakeholder influence are essential, along with establishing professional relationships at senior levels. A Manager will own business development opportunities and foster high performance among colleagues.

For both roles, the must-have qualities include:

• A passion for public sector work and understanding of government investment drivers.
• Excellent communication and writing skills tailored to various audiences.
• A positive, collaborative, problem-solving attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.

Additional valuable skills include experience in public sector procurement, infrastructure delivery, financial modeling, contract design, consulting, business case preparation, quantitative analysis, project management, or relevant industry background.
