IT Asset Management Role

We are seeking an experienced IT asset management professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of all IT assets, overseeing the full lifecycle of IT hardware and equipment, tracking asset costs and providing insights to stakeholders, and managing asset tagging, risk assessments, and policy updates.

In addition, the candidate will be expected to maintain a current inventory of all software licenses, conduct audits on software usage and deployments, identify cost-saving opportunities, manage licence allocations and compliance, and liaise with vendors regarding upcoming licence changes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work collaboratively with teams to understand device needs, evaluate hardware options, and collect user feedback. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to guide users in selecting the right equipment.

Other responsibilities include coordinating delivery and receipting of IT equipment, supporting Technical Support Officers in fulfilling requests, managing IT stock levels, leading or supporting process improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards, licensing, and workplace safety.
