Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.Job DescriptionAbout the roleThis role supports the Brookfield Infrastructure Group's portfolio management team in key finance functions across corporate and operating asset entities for the Asia Pacific region.The objective of the team is to partner effectively with our Asia Pacific operating businesses and internal stakeholders to drive performance, generate value, and act as a trusted resource on financial matters.
The incumbent is accountable in supporting the Portfolio Management team to build a 'best in class' finance function and to provide assistance in the financial due diligence workstreams of any potential acquisitions and divestments of the Asia Pacific infrastructure group.Responsibilities:Support the delivery of timely, high-quality FP&A reporting, including monthly forecasting, operational reporting, capital project analysis, and KPI tracking for Asia Pacific operating entitiesAssist in the annual business planning process, including preparation and analysis of financial modelsPrepare and maintain quarterly business valuation models under guidance, including sensitivity analysis and benchmarkingAssist with the review and compilation of quarterly and annual financial reporting submissions by operating businessesDevelop a strong understanding of operating businesses to support analysis of performance and strategic initiativesContribute to the preparation of technical accounting memorandums under supervisionProvide support on due diligence, onboarding of new acquisitions, and divestiture activitiesAssist with cashflow forecasting, monitoring debt covenants, and supporting financing activities across the operating businessesHelp identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting processesAssist with the preparation of financial statements for corporate holding entities and related reconciliationsSupport the preparation of external or regulatory reporting requirementsParticipate in ad-hoc strategic analysis and special projects as requiredAbout youAt least 3 years work experience post-graduationCA/CPA qualifiedStrong knowledge and competency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with core corporate finance principles, including financial modelling and valuationsPrevious experience in aggregation and consolidation of financial reportsPrevious experience in acquisition and disposal accountingStrong attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical mindset with sound problem-solving skillsWell-organised with the ability to manage time and competing priorities effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teamsWillingness to learn and take initiativeStrong knowledge of IFRSStrong verbal, presentation and written communication skillsBrookfield Asset Management does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies.
