Community Services Manager Position

Wayside Chapel is seeking an experienced Community Services Manager to lead their frontline team.

This is a leadership role that involves guiding a dedicated group of Care Coordinators and Community Services Workers to deliver inclusive, trauma-informed support.

  • Leads the daily operations of a diverse team, ensuring services run smoothly and compassionately across program spaces.
  • Allocates workloads and manages service flow across intake, care coordination, and outreach.
  • Supervises and supports staff through regular check-ins, coaching, and debriefing.
  • Drives continuous improvement in service quality and visitor experience.
  • Fosters a safe, inclusive, and psychologically healthy workplace culture.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to improve outcomes for the community.

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in social work or a related field and at least 5 years' experience leading frontline service delivery in a complex environment.

They will also bring experience in care coordination, case management, and trauma-informed practice, as well as strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across teams and clients.
