Job Title: Data Information Manager

KBR is seeking an experienced and skilled data information manager to support current and upcoming defence programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective data management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with defence standards.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and traceability across technical, engineering, and logistics domains.
  • Manage structured and unstructured data, including technical documentation, drawings, and specifications throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise data governance and utilisation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and information flow.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of secure, accessible data repositories with appropriate metadata, version control, and access protocols.
  • Contribute to the development of Data Management Plans (DMPs) and ensure alignment with project milestones and lifecycle stages.
  • Engage with defence stakeholders and contractors to uphold consistency and quality of data and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in data management, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years' experience in data management within defence or a highly regulated technical environment.
  • Sound understanding of defence data standards and artefacts.
  • Proficient in data governance, lifecycle management, and configuration control.
  • Experience using document and data management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and written communication abilities.
  • Australian Citizenship is required to meet security clearance requirements.
