Clinical Manager Position

This is an exceptional career opportunity for a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our organisation in providing high-quality care to residents in a supportive and positive work environment.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for residents in the facility by delivering person-centered care, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.

  • Resident Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, addressing their specific needs and preferences.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers and support staff.
  • Care Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
  • Crisis Management: Handle emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current AHPRA Registration.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation.
  • Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
