Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team at the Far West NSW Local Health District. As a key member of our mental health and addiction services, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical interventions and consultation to patients and staff, utilizing evidence-based practices and a person-centered approach.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Supervise and support students and staff, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations and healthcare providers.
- Participate in data analysis and reporting, utilizing insights to inform practice and drive positive change.
- Relevant qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health and addiction services, with a strong focus on clinical practice and leadership.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
