About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and supervision to junior staff and students
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health and addiction services
  • Provide education and training to staff and students on mental health and addiction topics
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health and addiction services
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
