We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to deliver excellence in clinical care for patients at our hospital. This is a unique opportunity to join a small dedicated team of emergency medicine specialists and contribute to seamless continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality medical care to inpatients and emergency department patients.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine, or equivalent overseas specialist pathways.
- Recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice, demonstrated by evidence of being a medical expert.
- Completion or current undertaking of an Emergency Life Support course and skill/experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Evidence of continued professional development, peer review, and other forms of clinical governance.
- Excellent communication skills, including oral and written abilities, for effective collaboration with patients, students, health professionals, and the public.
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary framework, network, and operate in various settings.
- Past leadership and management experience, flexibility, and ability to cope with a changing health system.
