Experienced General Practitioner Wanted for Emergency Medicine

This opportunity involves delivering high-quality clinical care to patients, ensuring seamless continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient services.
The successful candidate will provide inpatient and emergency department services, promoting optimal medical care for the patients of Armidale Rural Referral Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Hold a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine, and/or overseas-trained specialist pathways.
- Display evidence of being a medical expert through recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice.
- Have completion or current undertaking of an Emergency Life Support course and skill/experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Demonstrate evidence of being a scholar, maintaining medical professional development, and have the ability to assist other staff, including trainees, in acquiring and developing knowledge.
- Exhibit evidence of being a skilled communicator, including both oral and written skills, communicating with patients, students, other health professionals, and the public.
- Display evidence of being a collaborator, including the ability to network and operate within an interdisciplinary framework and work with other stakeholders in various settings.
- Exhibit evidence of being a manager, including flexibility in coping with a changing health system, past leadership and management experience, and previous safety and quality improvement activities.
- Display evidence of being a professional, including continued professional development, peer review, and other forms of clinical governance.
- Exhibit evidence of being an advocate, including contributions to improving individual and societal health.
