Regional Sales Representative

About the Role: Regional Sales Representative Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Regional Sales Representative. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving livestock sales, and identifying new business opportunities within your territory.

  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and grow a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
  • Identify and cultivate new livestock sales opportunities
  • Develop and grow relationships with key industry partners, including exporters and processors
  • Provide expert onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
  • Employ tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
  • Maximise promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Livestock Auctioneer Licence and Assessor Accreditation (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the agriculture sector, and an understanding of seasonal requirements
  • Strong understanding of livestock breeds, vet products and low stress stock handling, with a passion for driving client relationships and sales
  • Commitment to positively effecting real change for both your clients and your community
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients
