About the Role

As one of Australia's largest electrical contractors, we are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to oversee the estimating department's processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Managing daily operations of the estimating team.
  • Developing quotations and keeping clients informed.
  • Assisting various project and service groups as required.
Additional Responsibilities:

Support the estimating team by reviewing tenders with clients, preparing accurate tenders, ensuring timely preparedness of estimates, and assisting in compliance with company estimating processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in electrical estimating, strong data and cost analysis skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additionally, a formal qualification in Engineering or Project Management is preferred, as well as a current Open Electrical License and Driver's License.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Proven experience in the electrical contracting industry, tendering for electrical projects, developing estimates, budgets, and financial reports, and understanding contracts and tender processes for major projects.
