Electoral Leadership Opportunity

This is a rare chance to lead the strategic direction of an organisation as Deputy Electoral Commissioner.

The appointee will drive organisational change, provide executive leadership and management in delivering complex electoral events, operational activities and technology modernisation.

To succeed, you will be an outstanding communicator with strong executive presence, possessing experience leading a complex organisation at an executive level.

A relevant tertiary qualification in business, public administration or law is required, along with a proven ability to operate with the highest levels of ethical behaviour, honesty, integrity and respect.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • In the absence of the Electoral Commissioner, exercise all delegated powers.

  • Implement and drive organisational change across various disciplines.

  • Provide executive leadership and management in delivering complex statewide electoral events, operational activities and technology modernisation.

  • Builta and maintain strategic relationships, networks and partnerships across government and non-government organisations.

The Deputy Electoral Commissioner plays a critical role in supporting the Electoral Commissioner and ensuring the smooth operation of elections in South Australia.
