Community Football Coach Leader

This is a key role within the Australian Football League (AFL) in Victoria, focused on developing community football coaching environments.
Purpose of the Role:- To educate and develop coaches through AFL Victoria content to drive behavioural change consistent with the National Coaching strategy.
To achieve this, the Coach Developer will deliver coach learning methods, including education, facilitation, assessing, mentoring, and reflection, with club coaches at their level.
Main Responsibilities:- Work within the AFL VIC Coach Developer Program across Victoria.
- Align with the AFL VIC Coach Developer Lead and League/Region Manager to deliver AFL VIC endorsed programs.
- Facilitate coaching seminars and support the AFL VIC Coach Developer Lead.
- Provide clear and accurate reports before and after workshops.
- Attend one after-business-hours Coach Developer meeting per month with AFL VIC Coach Developer Lead.
- Deliver high-quality presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- A Level 2 Coach AFL Accreditation.
- Significant experience working in community sport as a coach or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with community clubs and various stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of community Football in Victoria.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours.
- A current Driver's License.
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This salary range reflects the industry standard for similar roles in the region.
