About the RoleThis Country Football Participation Coordinator role plays a vital part in leading, planning, and executing key programs through a team of regionally based participation coordinators and casual staff members. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, booking, rostering, and training casual staff to achieve program objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership and management, strategic planning, and change implementation. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate and influence personnel and teams. Strong administrative skills, including Microsoft software proficiency, are also essential.
Located in Northern Victoria, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of country football. With a strong understanding of the local sporting landscape, the successful candidate will be able to establish and prioritize tasks to achieve objectives and drive results.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met in the region for Auskick, Schools, Superkick, NINES, and community football.
- Lead the Auskick mapping project, ensuring all staff-delivered Auskick centers are booked and delivered according to regional needs.
- Align and deliver programs on behalf of community clubs to support new teams and grades across existing competitions.
- Categorize schools to ensure programming is delivered based on school needs and student journey.
- Develop relationships and understand School Football pathways, creating plans to increase participation in these competitions.
- Deploy staff, full-time and casual, for all booked School and Community programs in their regions.
- Support training for staff to deliver key programs, including Auskick, Schools, Superkick, and NINES.
- Assist in the roll-out and implementation of the CRM system and Deputy.
- Provide ongoing training and education for staff to deliver quality AFL programs.
- Prioritize schools through the CRM platform to ensure all School KPIs are met.
- Support the team and lead as a subject matter expert on program areas.
- Contribute to key projects within and outside core roles.
This role is offered with a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will be eligible for benefits such as flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and access to our Health and Wellbeing program.
