Job Title: Transport Safety Specialist

About the Role
This 6-month fixed-term position will see you working as the subject matter expert for providing technical advice and coaching to stakeholders and team members across the OCADO site in relation to transport safety. Your key objectives will include ensuring key objectives are met, including van fleet and safe deliveries to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sound knowledge, skill, and experience in health and safety, particularly critical risk reduction in yard management and on-road, traffic management, and transport safety.
- Minimum of 3 years working in an operational FMCG distribution centre, manufacturing, or automated environment.
- Proven record of achieving results and leading change within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Clear demonstration of ability to incorporate safety requirements while considering commercially viable and practical solutions.
- Proven capability in developing safety plans and strategies that are aligned to business objectives.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Transport Safety professional with a strong background in health and safety, risk management, and compliance. You'll have a Safety Degree or Cert IV/related discipline and/or Risk Compliance degree or Cert IV. You'll also have experience managing transport regulatory compliance, strong stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities, and exceptional coaching, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
