About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to fill a part-time position covering a maternity leave.

This role will focus on cost and management accounting for our site, with an emphasis on profitability analysis, process improvement initiatives, and financial partnerships to support key operational decisions.

  • Prepare management reports and analyze site profitability, including variance analysis
  • Monitor and communicate operational performance trends for our site
  • Partner with operations on process improvement projects to support business targets
  • Manage product costing for new product development and process improvement initiatives
  • Support forecasting, budgeting cycles, and provide assistance to the Finance Controller

The Ingredients for Success:

  • A tertiary qualification with up to 2 years' experience in cost accounting or business analysis, preferably within the FMCG industry
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar large ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • A proven ability to take ownership of tasks, delivering accurate outcomes with strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to process improvement and change management initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
