About this role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team on a part-time basis for up to 20 hours, working on a 12-14 month fixed-term contract.

This role will be responsible for management and cost accounting for one of our manufacturing sites, focusing on site profitability analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and finance business partnering to support operational decisions.

Key responsibilities include preparing management reports, analyzing site profitability, monitoring and communicating operational performance trends, partnering with operations on continuous improvement projects, and supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as cost accounting or business analysis, with up to 2 years' experience
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar large ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, delivering accurate outcomes with strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to process improvement and change management initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
