We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our Operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Raise accurate and timely purchase orders based on Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory levels and production requirements
- Manage supply chain logistics, including international shipping and documentation
- Collaborate with the finance department on cost tracking, stocktakes and document control
- Resolve discrepancies and ensure prompt supplier payments
- Prepare procurement strategies, tenders and contracts
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and performance improvements
- Monitor inventory and implement stock control measures
- Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective actions
- Supervise the Inventory and Warehouse Controller and Warehouse and Distribution Officer
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 and internal Quality Management System policies
- Supplier On-Time Delivery >95%
- Procurement Cost Savings tracked against budget
- Inventory Accuracy >98% (Alignment between system stock and physical count)
- On-Time PO Issuance >98%
