Position Summary:

The role of the Parts Associate involves managing the receipt, issuance, and procurement of aircraft components for internal operations, as well as coordinating repair orders with external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and document all aircraft parts and kits from the designated distribution center.
  • Issue parts and kits to the production floor, supporting technicians with their parts needs.
  • Process external orders from clients and prepare components for dispatch, requiring proficiency in parts catalogs and an understanding of warranty versus exchange policies.
  • Monitor back orders and collaborate with the distribution center to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Assist in regular and special inventory counts and generate purchase orders for supplies necessary for the parts room.
  • Support the billing process for customers regarding repairs, shipping, and other related services.
  • Manage all consignment and exchange programs effectively.
  • Perform additional related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, along with a solid understanding of aircraft components.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in aircraft parts management.

Skills:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting illustrated parts catalogs.
  • Capability to understand overhaul manuals and aircraft engine documentation.
