About the Position

This role contributes to maximising risk-adjusted returns across equity, preferred equity, and structured subordinated credit investments.

Your responsibilities span the entire real estate investment spectrum, ensuring effective portfolio performance at both transaction and strategic levels.

You will play an integral part in delivering high-quality investment outcomes within a collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Investment Execution & Project Management
    • Support senior deal team members with transaction analysis, due diligence, structuring, and execution of equity and structured subordinated credit investments.
    • Coordinate transaction administration, including managing investment conditions, drawdown processes, capital calls, and funding requirements.
    • Build and review transaction and investment models to inform decision-making.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Prepare risk assessments, investment committee papers, and term sheets, including conducting independent market analysis.
    • Assist with presenting transaction updates and proposals to internal stakeholders and committees.
    • Deliver timely and high-standard fund, investor, and transaction reporting.
  • Ongoing Investment Oversight
    • Implement, review, and update investment business plans for equity investments.
    • Conduct regular compliance, cashflow, and performance reviews.
    • Participate in project meetings to maintain detailed project insight.
  • Market Research & Business Support
    • Research market investment themes and investment opportunities.
    • Assist with investor relations, capital raising, and broader business strategy initiatives.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, construction, real estate, or legal disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in finance, legal, or professional consulting, preferably within investment banking, private equity, corporate banking, treasury, advisory, or investment management, with exposure to real assets.
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel-based cashflow analysis skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex financial and real estate concepts.
  • Proven research capability to source, analyse, and synthesise market data to support investment decisions.
  • Foundational knowledge of capital structuring, real estate valuation and operations, and development / construction risk principles.
  • High initiative, self-motivation, and sound judgment under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
