Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for providing overall cost management, reporting, and forecasting requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:- Developing and maintaining project cost reporting, forecasting, and trending tools that align to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual milestones and client requirements.
- Ensuring that project standards, procedures, and systems/tools for cost control are implemented activities undertaken.
- Carrying out end-of-month processes and accurate financial reporting within required deadlines.
- Accurate cost accruals for end-of-month reporting.
- Reviewing project costs and performing cost analysis where required.
- Adjusting forecast rates for staff resources.
- Processing/reviewing weekly payroll.
- Creating and updating purchase orders, work orders, and WBS elements.
- Processing of invoices.
- Ensuring accurate cost allocation.
- Knowledge of financial management systems - SAP essential.
- Advanced in MS Excel.
- Business-related qualifications in accounting or economics is highly desirable.
- Proactively seeking to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.
- Capable of prioritizing work and managing time.
