Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for administering our IT systems, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer IT systems, including provisioning and de-provisioning, security and compliance, configuration and customization, maintenance and updates, support and troubleshooting, backup and recovery, vendor management, user training and documentation, and reporting and analytics.
  • Perform scripting and automation tasks, including ad-hoc coding and integrating with APIs to improve system interactions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers in on-premises environments, ensuring security and optimal performance.
  • Plan and execute upgrades to hardware and software systems, minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Coordinate with the Security Team to implement security measures and protect company data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Ensure all IT systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, escalating non-conformities when discovered.
  • Provide level-3 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, resolving complex problems promptly.
  • Manage data backup solutions, ensuring regular backups and data recovery in the event of a failure.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, system configurations, and security protocols.
  • Assist in various IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in an IT Support or Systems Administrator role, with proven skills in administering IT systems in a busy environment.
  • Prior experience in the i Gaming or Casino industry, with an understanding of the typical requirements covering IT, platforms, applications, and cybersecurity challenges specific to this sector.
  • Bonus points if you also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications in IT or Cloud certifications will be looked upon favorably, including demonstrated proficiency and skills in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloudflare, Google Workspace or Google Cloud (GCP), and other platforms.
