Legal Director Job Opportunity

As a senior legal professional, you will provide expert advice to senior stakeholders and lead the development and implementation of our organization's legal strategy and systems for managing its legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert legal guidance to Senior Executives and internal stakeholders on a diverse range of legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Leading the legal function, including providing leadership and guidance to our team.
  • Effectively managing service delivery, including productive relationships with external legal providers and advisers.
  • Keeping abreast of contemporary legal advancements and developing innovative legal options in response to challenging operational requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Financial management skills to efficiently manage team resources and prioritize workloads.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders on complex issues.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Essential qualifications include a degree in law and admission as a legal practitioner eligible to practice in Queensland.
