Customer Service Representative Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience from the moment they visit our branch.

The role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, utilizing knowledge of our financial products and services to support their holistic banking needs. This includes addressing everyday banking queries, referring customers to specialists in Home Loans or Business Banking, and ensuring each customer receives tailored support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting customers with banking transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals
  • Maintaining accurate cash handling and ensuring end-of-day balancing
  • Educating customers on digital platforms such as online banking and mobile apps
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing through tailored solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

This is a part-time, branch-based role working 20.5 hours per week across Wed, Thu, and Fri.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience, ideally in a customer-facing role
  • Numerical Skills, proficiency in handling cash and accuracy in financial transactions
  • Personality, an energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people
  • Resilience, ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Adaptability, a will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
