Project Coordinator Position

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers and stakeholders, determining their needs, and ensuring the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to major projects.

The Project Coordinator will be involved in daily planning, ensuring that plans are adhered to and delivered on time and in full. This includes reading and understanding engineering drawings to create steel cutting lists for production.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a scheduling role and possess technical skills such as reading and understanding technical drawings. They should also be able to prioritize customer orders and be a productive and efficient team player.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Ensuring daily plans are adhered to and delivered on time and in full first time, every time.
    • Reading and understanding engineering drawings to create steel cutting lists for production.
    • Understanding customer needs and solving customer challenges and issues onsite.
    • Working with customers, production, and planning teams, clients, and builders.
    • Pre-fabrication detailing of reinforcing elements in concrete (2D and/or 3D).
    • Identifying areas of development and improvement to processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in civil or structural engineering, or qualifications in design/drafting or building and construction management.
  • Experience in modeling software such as AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Previous experience in a scheduling role is considered favorably.
