About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Response Network as a Sonder Responder. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing assistance to people in need and has experience in emergency services, military, or security-related work.

  • This role involves working with a flexible, 24-hour on-call roster and being part of a network that provides in-person support to members who need help, when they need it, in coordination with our Support Centre.
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing in-person support to members in critical situations
  • Assessing situations and determining the next steps
  • Working collaboratively with the Response Network Manager and other team members
  • Nurturing partnership relations and engagement
Requirements
  • Recent or current experience in Australia within emergency services, military, and/or security-related work
  • A strong network of contacts in the local area
  • High level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-management
  • Ability to set priorities, act on key issues, and make quick decisions while displaying interpersonal sensitivity
  • Ability to work a flexible, on-call roster
