About the Role:

A key position has arisen for a Homemaker to lead supportive care in Newcastle.

This role will involve supervising Support Workers, ensuring quality care and support to participants, and creating a safe environment.

About You:

To succeed as a Homemaker, you will possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional service, with experience in supporting high-intensity NDIS participants with complex needs.

You will also have well-developed leadership skills, emotional resilience, positive attitude, and strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily work activities, provide guidance to Support Workers, lead and mentor a team of Support Workers, and ensure support needs are met.

Administrative tasks, data entry, and liaison with stakeholders, family, and NDIS will be essential responsibilities.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate hands-on support, organisational skills, and ability to implement new activities relevant to participants' goals.

Licence/Certification:

Must hold current driver's licence, first aid and CPR certificates, Working with Children's Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Orientation Certificate, COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate, and own a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
