Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Café Operations Manager to join our team. As a Café Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Rostering and staff management
  • Training and development of baristas
  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Stocktake and stock control
  • Banking and cash management
  • Food safety handling and compliance

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

To be successful as a Café Operations Manager, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Fluent English language skills

Prior experience in café management or a related field is highly desirable. You must also possess a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
