Recovery Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recovery Team Lead to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our Recoveries team, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated and task-focused recoveries specialists to achieve the best client and company outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver superior financial, service, and effectiveness outcomes in line with key performance indicators and overall department and company objectives.
- Coach, train, and mentor direct reports using technical expertise to pursue saving opportunities.
- Conduct regular, ad-hoc, and monthly performance reviews with direct reports to ensure alignment with goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure maximum saving potential is recognized within the team.
- Provide technical recovery claims advice and assistance to all team members.
- Review and sign off on complex claim decisions and recovery write-offs outside of team authority limits.
- Participate and support peer leadership group in decision-making and resource allocation across the claims department.
- Review and report on department results and trends to outline the ongoing performance of the Recoveries portfolio.
We are looking for a candidate with strong recoveries or claims management experience, a proactive and energetic approach, and the ability to develop, coach, and train staff. You should have a solid understanding of liability and relevant insurance laws, as well as excellent customer service skills.
