We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Claims Team Lead to join our team at Auto & General. As a Motor Claims Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Motor Claims Consultants and ensuring they provide a high standard of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coach a team of Motor Claims Consultants to ensure they maintain their skills and competencies.
  • Prioritize and allocate team portfolios, including workload management.
  • Conduct performance reviews and assist with staffing requirements and recruitment.
  • Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point for complex claims and complaints.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Motor Claims operating model.
  • Provide technical product, process, system, and compliance support.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ensure Auto & General policies and procedures are adhered to.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role with a customer-facing organization, preferably with strong coaching experience.
  • Experience in Motor Claims is beneficial.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-resolution skills.
  • Experience in developing processes and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required.
