Job Description

This role involves providing crucial technical operations support, ensuring the optimal performance of micro- and nanotechnology equipment through meticulous daily checks, expert management of installations and modifications, and proactive maintenance.

You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with Australian safety standards and coordinating with internal and external partners for essential repairs.

  • Maintain accurate records of facility operations and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
  • Develop, interpret, and apply relevant policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to stay updated on technological advances and procure materials as needed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge micro- and nanotechnology equipment, including deposition equipment, characterization equipment, and fabrication equipment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Experience in facilities management, maintenance, and equipment support is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems is also desirable.
